What a week!

So what a week. A wonderful week. I LOVE SISTER CLARKKKK. Seriously. It has been so fun to be her companion. And we are seeing lots of miracles!

Today we will mark Daniel and Danielas wedding in the ‘cartorio’. I have no clue what this word is in english… hahah they are way excited to get married, and then baptized! whoo hoo!
Silvio went to church again on Sunday which was great. But sadly, his wife and kids didnt go. We visited them this week with Paulo and Rubi, and they committed to go, but they ended up not going. These moments are so sad, because you want to understand why and you just dont. But I have faith that as we continue to work with them they will start to go to and the whole family will be able to get baptized together. But first, Silvio and Lillian need to get married…
Yesterday we left with Kimberly, a young woman in the ward. She remembered of a woman she talked to 4 years ago and wanted to share the Book of Mormon with her, but never found her again. Well. Kimberly remembered where she lived and we went there yesterday. WHAT A WONDERFUL WOMAN. Seriously. Her name is Inez, and she has a 10 year old son named Pedro. She literally was prepared by the Lord to receive the fullness of the Gospel in this moment. We are so excited to continue working with her!
Gabriel was baptized on Saturday at like 9 pm. But was baptized and that is what counts. Hahah He is very shy. He didnt even invite his grandma who is a member… but he is way happy to be a member of the church! He was confirmed on Sundayand is preparing to receive the Aaronic Priesthood. And this week he expressed the desire to serve a mission. What a great change of heart!
We also had a special lesson with Duda this week. She is a less active young woman in the ward. Me and Sister C left home with rain boots because it was pouring but 5 minutes after leaving home the sun came out. So we stopped at Duda’s house to ask if she had a change of shoes. Which she did. And we asked why she hadnt been going to church. She said it was because she didnt have friends there… We compared this to if the bank called and said she had $1000 waiting for her and she just had to go to pick it up. But that she didnt like the bankers. We asked if she would really give up $1000 bc of people and obviously she said no. We compared it to the gospel and the fact she is losing blessings. When we talked about the sacrament she started crying and said she would go on Sunday. And she did! She was so happy!
We are being so blessed here! I am so grateful! Have a great week!
